As a Sous Chef, you will collaborate with our culinary team to craft flavourful dishes that nourish both body and mind. You will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service, ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes meet company standards and client expectations. You will supervise and train kitchen staff, assist in menu planning and development, oversee stock control and ordering, and support special events and culinary initiatives.
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment while following health and safety regulations is essential. You will also support administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records of food costs and inventory. Staying updated on industry trends and culinary techniques will help you continuously enhance menu offerings and the overall dining experience. Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within contract catering or educational institutions is preferred.

You are a team player who enjoys succeeding as part of a team and have a flexible approach to work. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and can multitask efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
