Job Description
To take responsibility for the catering operation in line with Company policies, Client requirements and financial constraints. To provide leadership and guidance to all team members to ensure a positive customer experience, under the guidance of the Client Centre Manager. To ensure that communication, ownership and excellence is always top priority, to ensure that the Client Centre is well presented and to always play a role of ambassador for both BaxterStorey and our client.
Team Supervision
Make a continuous assessment of the performance of all staff under your supervision in order to establish training needs and development potential.
Ensure that training is carried out in the location to meet identified needs and requirements of the Company training policy.
Ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and the standards required.
To attend training sessions and catering meetings when required.
Take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the section/s as appropriate
Motivate and lead by example ensuring you and your team have a positive experience at work and are proud of your efforts.
Customer Service
Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service.
To be customer focused at all times, by being visible during meal periods, communicating and determining customer requirements before they do.
Ensure all food is presented and served in line with company minimum standards.
Attend all catering committee meetings when required.
Make sure that all agreed service objectives are met in line with client expectations.
Financial Supervision
Assist in stocktaking
To make management aware of any sales growth opportunities
Ensure that stocks are used efficiently
Health & Safety Supervision
Record and report all accidents within the location adhering to location and company procedures.
Ensure all equipment is well maintained and is in good working order.
Make recommendations for renewal and replacement of equipment when required.
Maintain location cleaning schedules.

Location - Central London
Salary/Hours - £31,172 p/a Monday- Friday

Qualifications
Friendly, outgoing personality; a people person
Great work ethic and an even greater smile
Experience in either similar fast paced corporate environment or fine dining/hotel background
Good listening & verbal communication skills
Customer focused with a passion for offering outstanding service
Perpetuates company philosophy and culture
You thrive working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Good memory and attention to detail
Sound knowledge of food and beverage - wine knowledge an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry
Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
