Job Responsibilities
As a Hospitality Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and beverage operations whilst leading and motivating a dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include planning, organizing, and overseeing successful operations for all meetings and events, collaborating with the kitchen and events team to ensure food and service provision aligns with company standards, ensuring compliance with all legislative and government guidelines, handling customer enquiries and complaints effectively, conducting regular checks on business operations, monitoring food and beverage control, leading and motivating team members, implementing quality control measures, contributing to the development of new service ideas, and liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution and customer satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in a hospitality team leader role or similar position.
About you
Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, strong leadership and team management skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour, excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure. Experience in meetings and events management and food safety certification are desirable.
Qualifications
Proficiency in basic financial management, including stock control and ordering, in-depth understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry, ability to take initiative and make decisions in a fast-paced environment, strong presentation skills, and an empathetic and supportive approach to team management.
