About the Role
At Sam’s Riverside, you will be the first and last point of contact for every guest, setting the tone with a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth, professional experience throughout their visit. You will manage bookings, seating plans, and guest requests with confidence and care, balancing pace and precision in a fast-moving environment. With a natural sense of hospitality and attention to detail, you will help create the relaxed, elegant atmosphere Sam’s is known for.
Founded in 2019 by renowned restaurateur Sam Harrison and business partner Fanny Stocker, Sam’s celebrates the finest seasonal produce from across the UK with a focus on Anglo-French cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on sourcing ingredients from small artisan suppliers to ensure quality and freshness in every dish. Complementing the food is a carefully curated wine list, handpicked by Sam himself, featuring selections from wineries he has personally visited.
Sam’s Riverside has been recognised with multiple awards including Caterer’s 11th best place to work in Hospitality in the UK (2023), nominations for Catey’s Restaurateur of the Year Award (2023), and was voted the 2nd favourite restaurant in London by the public in the Harden’s Guide (2023).

Experience
Proven experience working in a busy, high-end restaurant and/or bar environment is essential.

Bundles of passion and enthusiasm with a true love for authentic hospitality. You must demonstrate a stable work history and be able to provide credible, positive references from former employers. You must have the right to work in the UK.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required, but a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences are essential.
