About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Graduate to join Amey in our Complex Facilities People Team starting April 2026. This role provides a strong foundation in HR by giving you experience across all areas of the people function while developing towards a future in HR. You’ll build core skills in employee relations, absence management, trade union engagement and wider HR processes, while supporting delivery of the People Plan and developing confident stakeholder-management skills. Your primary focus will be supporting business growth and work-winning through tenders, people data analysis, TUPE activity and mobilisation planning.
Complex Facilities delivers bespoke, integrated facilities and asset management services across some of the UK’s most critical and secure environments. Key responsibilities include supporting HR activity across employee relations, absence management, trade union engagement and core people processes; contributing to the delivery of the People Plan including talent, organisational effectiveness, engagement and inclusion initiatives; building strong stakeholder-management skills by attending meetings, supporting senior leaders and understanding operational and strategic business needs; and supporting business-growth activity including tenders, data analysis, creating people-content libraries, TUPE processes and mobilisation planning.

Experience

About you
- Completed a degree in any discipline
- Available to join the programme in April 2026
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter with initiative
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a broad portfolio of activities
- Confident in engaging with and managing stakeholders
Qualifications
No specific HR qualifications required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
