About the Role
Accurx is seeking an experienced Information Security & Risk Specialist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s information security and risk management frameworks. You will work closely with various teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the security posture of a fast-growing healthcare technology company in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Experience
Proven experience in information security and risk management, ideally within a technology or healthcare environment. Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar is highly desirable. Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and implementing security controls.

About you
Detail-oriented and analytical with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated and able to work independently within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory. A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is advantageous.
