About the Role
We are seeking an Interim Senior Customer Communications Manager to join our dedicated Communications department. You will promote and protect the reputation of the Group by leading and delivering high-quality marketing communications for customers and assisting with the management of the overall Customer Communications function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the development of customer communications and marketing strategies, leading the creation of supporting projects, policies and procedures from inception
- Leading, managing and delivering customer communications and marketing programmes across the Group to ensure customers are well-informed and to help achieve consistent customer experiences across all channels and touchpoints
- Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on the performance of customer communications work programmes
- Developing and maintaining strong business partnering relationships with client departments, providing expert communications advice, designing new solutions and influencing change
- Championing A2Dominion’s brands and protecting their integrity, including advising on brand strategy, corporate identity, house style and production assets
- Managing procurement and relationships with creative agencies and suppliers
- Supporting the smooth running of the team through shared management responsibilities and administration
- Planning, managing and delivering a range of high-quality customer communications projects using the full marketing mix, including newsletters, handbooks, leaflets, signage, digital content, social media, accessibility formats, creative campaigns, and operational communications both business-as-usual and change-related
- Assisting the Head of Customer Communications with team management and deputising in their absence, including leading on crisis and business continuity incidents, managing wider communications projects, ensuring high standards of communications materials, and maintaining work plans and performance reports
Experience
- Significant experience in planning, managing and delivering customer marketing and communications programmes within a large, complex organisation
- Project and programme management skills including briefing, planning, delivery and evaluation
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating skills
- Brand management experience ensuring communications align with corporate identity and tone of voice
- Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills with strong grammar and literacy

- Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*-C)
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g. in internal communications) or equivalent
