About the Role
Join Christ the King Sixth Forms as an IT Support Technician based at the Emmanuel site. You will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across all three Sixth Form sites, ensuring the continuous availability and smooth operation of IT equipment for staff, students, and governors. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and classroom audio-visual equipment. You will support a wide range of IT systems including networks and MS365, contributing to a professional environment where students are nurtured to achieve their full potential. The role requires excellent customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and a flexible, proactive approach to work. Experience
- Previous experience in a Help Desk or IT support environment providing 1st and 2nd line support
- Experience using remote desktop software to assist users
- Knowledge of email systems, antivirus, internet security, and audio-visual equipment installation and maintenance
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11, MacOS, MS365, and Outlook
- Basic understanding of networking principles including IP addressing, switches, LAN/WAN
