About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic IT Support Technicians to join Christ the King Sixth Forms at our Emmanuel and St Mary's sites. You will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to staff, students, and governors across all three Sixth Form campuses, ensuring the continuous availability and smooth operation of IT equipment and services. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and classroom audio-visual equipment. You will support networks and MS365 environments, handle IT helpdesk queries, and assist with IT projects as directed. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, customer service aptitude, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the IT team. You will contribute to maintaining high service standards and support the Catholic ethos of the Sixth Forms, helping students achieve their full potential in a professional and inspiring environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a Help Desk or IT support environment providing 1st and 2nd line support
- Experience using remote desktop software to assist users
- Knowledge of email systems, antivirus, internet security, and audio-visual equipment installation and maintenance
- Good working technical knowledge of Windows 10/11, MacOS, MS365, and Outlook
- Basic understanding of networking principles including IP addressing, switches, LAN/WAN

- A good standard of education to degree level or equivalent
