£30,755 - £36,085 per annum plus wellbeing cash plan, pension scheme (LGPS) and additional Lift Schools benefits

About the Role
We are seeking an IT Technician to join our Technology Team based at Lift Beacon High, supporting four schools across North London. You will ensure colleagues and students can confidently and effectively use technology, making a meaningful difference to daily teaching and learning. This is a hands-on role working directly with teachers, colleagues, children and young people. You will diagnose and resolve IT issues, maintain devices and systems, and contribute to wider improvements across our schools.
You will be predominantly based at Lift Beacon High with frequent travel to nearby schools including Lift Noel Park, Lift Trinity and Lift Aylward. Travel costs from Lift Aylward will be reimbursed.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day IT support across four schools
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with Chrome, Windows and Apple devices
- Supporting systems such as classroom AV, telephony, CCTV, printing and access control
- Maintaining accurate asset and equipment records
- Assisting with setup, installation and relocation of devices
- Communicating clearly with colleagues to ensure timely and user-friendly support
- Contributing to wider IT development projects including network and classroom upgrades

Development and Progression
You will join a supportive regional and central IT team with access to a structured learning pathway. Development opportunities may include Google Workspace Administrator training, Chrome OS support certification, network and AV training, and AI and digital innovation programmes within Lift Schools. This role offers the chance to grow your technical skills in a collaborative environment with real impact every day.

Requirements

Experience
Experience providing IT support in a workplace setting is required. Experience working in a school environment or holding relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Google Workspace, ITIL) is helpful but not essential.

About you
You enjoy solving problems and learning new things. You communicate clearly with people who have different levels of technical knowledge. You can work independently across different sites and manage your workload confidently. You hold a full UK driving licence and can travel between multiple school sites. Motivation to learn and develop is essential; support will be provided.

Qualifications
Relevant technical certifications are beneficial but not required. A willingness to learn and develop your skills is key.
