About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Solution Architect to join our consulting and delivery team at Solirius Reply, part of the Reply Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer, engineer, or technical professional seeking to progress into solution architecture and consulting. You will work alongside experienced architects and delivery teams to understand client requirements, contribute to solution design, and help deliver scalable, secure, and practical technology solutions. The role involves technical design, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and supporting architecture decisions across a range of projects. You will be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, ownership, and continuous learning, helping organisations solve complex challenges through strategy, design, engineering, and delivery.

Experience
- Supporting senior architects in designing end-to-end technology solutions
- Liaising with clients, business stakeholders, developers, and delivery teams to understand requirements
- Participating in technical discovery sessions, workshops, and client meetings
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions and architecture designs
- Creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution proposals
- Researching technologies and providing recommendations based on project requirements
- Supporting technical assessments, estimates, and solution planning
- Identifying technical risks, dependencies, and integration requirements
- Working with engineering, cloud, security, and DevOps teams throughout project delivery
- Developing an understanding of architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Supporting senior architects in presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications
- Experience in a software development, engineering, infrastructure, or technical role
- Good understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and application development
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Git, and modern development practices
- Understanding of at least one programming language such as Ruby, Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Desirable
- Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment
- Experience creating architecture diagrams using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io
- Exposure to Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or API gateways
- Understanding of security, networking, scalability, and system performance
- Cloud or architecture certifications
