Your key responsibilities will include food preparation according to recipes and standards set by the head chef, ensuring food safety at all times; managing your station by overseeing dish production, maintaining supplies, and ensuring cleanliness; maintaining high quality standards for presentation and taste; collaborating positively with team members and coaching junior chefs; assisting with menu development alongside the head chef; and maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar role.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
