Full Time - 37.5 hours per week across a 7 day rota (Monday - Sunday)
Early shift: 7:30am - 3:30pm
Late shift: 10am - 7pm

About the Role
Join Cygnet Health Care as a Kitchen Assistant and help improve lives every day. You will assist the Chef in maintaining all catering areas in a hygienic, clean, tidy, and safe manner according to operational standards. Your duties will include preparing balanced and appetising meals, performing basic food preparation and cooking tasks, washing and storing utensils and dishes, sorting and distributing ingredients, checking deliveries, and assisting with stock ordering. You will also promote and uphold the good reputation of the hospital by maintaining a positive attitude towards clients, their families, staff, and visitors. Experience
Previous experience working in a catering or kitchen environment is required. Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Training is essential.

Good communication skills and able to liaise with people at all levels. High personal hygiene standards. Able to work on your own initiative and under supervision. Qualifications
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is required. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
