As a Learning Resource Facilitator, you will support students and staff in our Learning Resource Centres. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the efficient and effective operation of the centres, working as part of a team to provide effective support, carrying out counter duties using a computerised system to issue and discharge materials, assisting users in researching and retrieving information from both paper-based and computerised resources, and promoting the Learning Resources service to students and staff. You will also support students to behave in a manner which does not prevent others from learning.
Experience
Good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff, both orally and in writing. Ability to work under pressure, organise own work and meet deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with other teams across the College.
