About the Role
Are you ready to tackle complex, high-impact project work that directly benefits our residents? Hackney Council is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Leasehold Consultation and Billing Officer to lead crucial project work resolving significant legacy issues that have hindered homeowner recharging and income recovery. This role is instrumental in ensuring financial fairness and recovering vital funds for the borough.
You will conduct detailed lease and transfer of part reviews, modernise our data landscape, and respond directly to new legislation by creating and updating essential financial databases. As the custodian of our major works database, you will ensure every customer account is meticulously accurate and reconciled.
Utilising your financial administration expertise, you will support Homeownership Services and promote effective financial accounting practices by liaising with departments, regulatory bodies, and auditors across the Council.

Experience
Proven ability to maintain strong attention to detail and unwavering accuracy, particularly in complex financial calculations.
Experience in financial administration and project work is essential.
