About the Role
As a Locum Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and deliver goal-focused OT interventions for children facing sensory, motor-planning, and daily-living challenges within educational or home settings. You will write concise treatment plans, contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), and produce progress reports that meet RCOT and HCPC standards. The role involves close collaboration with parents, teachers, SENCOs, and in-house Speech and Language Therapists to embed strategies into everyday routines. You will maintain GDPR-compliant records and adhere to safeguarding best practices. Experience
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with proven paediatric experience in schools, early-years, or community children’s teams. Minimum 2 years UK-based paediatric OT experience preferred. Confidence working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
HCPC registration is essential. Enhanced DBS check and up-to-date safeguarding training required. Desirable qualifications include Sensory Integration training, EHCP report writing experience, and knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
