About the Role
Do you take pride in keeping outdoor spaces looking their best? Join our team at Sun Haven Holiday Park, a peaceful location near Cornwall’s stunning coastline. As a Maintenance, Grounds and Planting Team Member, you will help maintain the park’s beautiful surroundings by carrying out general repairs, gardening, and planting. You will apply your knowledge of floriography to ensure our facilities and holiday homes are kept in top condition for guests and owners.
Your responsibilities will include planting and maintaining park planters, bedding areas, hedges, shrubs, and trees according to seasonal schedules; watering hanging baskets, hayracks, and summer bedding; developing flower beds; keeping park grounds, roadways, paths, bins, and public areas clean and litter-free; performing routine trades work such as plumbing, minor electrics, joinery, and woodworking; carrying out holiday home and lodge repairs; hard landscaping activities; assisting with moving and siting holiday homes; maintaining and repairing fencing, trellis work, walls, and signage; completing daily site walks; engaging with guests; and collaborating with the wider park team, including occasional work at other Cornwall parks.

Experience
Proven experience in grounds and maintenance tasks to a high standard. Experience planning and delivering routine maintenance, gardening, and planting. Knowledge of floriography, fertilisers, and general equipment repairs is advantageous. Experience in garden and grounds maintenance with a keen eye for detail is essential.

Well organised, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Good people skills and enjoyment in interacting with guests in a customer-service environment.
Qualifications
Basic horticultural knowledge is required. No specific formal qualifications are stated, but relevant skills and experience are important.
