Maintenance Supervisor Reactive Repairs

Hours
Full Time - Shift pattern between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday with call outs on a rota basis
Salary
£41,500 to £46,000 per annum, dependent on experience
About the Role
Join L&Q’s Maintenance Service as one of two Reactive Maintenance Supervisors. One position is a 12-month fixed term contract covering South West London, and the other is a permanent role covering South London. You will supervise approximately 10 multi-trade and specialist maintenance operatives across your neighbourhood, reporting to the Maintenance Team Manager.
You will work closely with Housing Management, Property Services, Surveying, Caretaking, Planning and Scheduling teams, Contact Centre, and other Supervisors to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Experience
- Proven experience supervising a reactive/responsive maintenance team within social housing, local authority, or a similar environment
- Experience managing performance through informal and formal processes, including absence management and recruitment input
- Strong technical knowledge of trades and maintenance
- Experience managing budgets and delivering KPIs
- Confident in liaising with contractors and reporting on performance
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety, including asbestos awareness
