About the Role
We are seeking a technical leader to join the StoresBST Differentiated Security Team (DST) Leadership Team. This role leads two of DST's four charters: Merger and Acquisition (M&A) Security Integration for the EMEA and APAC regions and Differentiated Security Initiatives (DSI). As the M&A Security Integration lead for EMEA and APAC, you will operate under the direction of the Sr. Manager, SDO Security Integration, driving security onboarding for acquisitions from deal close through full integration across the EMEA region. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional security workstreams, managing post-close security findings, and ensuring acquired business units meet Amazon's security standards within established timelines.

As the DSI charter owner, you will lead special projects addressing security gaps in differentiated environments that introduce risk within Stores. This involves identifying emerging security challenges, scoping initiatives, and delivering solutions that reduce risk exposure across differentiated assets at scale.

You will manage a geographically dispersed team of security engineers and technical program managers, balancing concurrent workstreams across M&A integration and security initiatives. This role requires strong cross-organizational collaboration skills and partnership with SDO stakeholders, acquired business unit leadership, and the broader StoresBST organization to deliver measurable security outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end security onboarding for EMEA acquisitions from deal close through full integration
- Manage pre-close security findings, post-close conditions, and remediation timelines
- Coordinate with Legal, Corporate Development, Network Engineering, and BU leadership to meet security requirements
- Track and report on M&A security metrics including finding closure rates and integration health
- Partner with SDO-wide M&A peers and Business Security Teams to maintain consistent security integration standards
- Own and drive the DSI charter, prioritizing and managing security initiatives based on risk and business criticality
- Develop and deliver solutions to reduce risk exposure in non-standard Amazon environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams and security partners to simplify security control implementations
- Serve as a member of the StoresBST global DST Leadership Team contributing to strategy and planning
- Hire, develop, and manage a team of security engineers, providing coaching and performance management
- Represent DST in stakeholder forums, business reviews, and leadership engagements
- Drive operational excellence through clear goal-setting and metrics demonstrating charter impact
