About the Role
As part of an exciting company expansion, Designer Group is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join our Estimation Department. Designer Group is a leading international mechanical & electrical provider specialising in turnkey packages for the design, supply, and installation of M&E services. This role involves preparing accurate mechanical estimates for projects, reviewing tender documentation, quantifying materials, plant and labour requirements, and collaborating closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure competitive prime costs. You will be responsible for tender risk analysis, preparing tender adjudication packs, and providing value engineered options to add value to our bids. The role requires working with design solutions, sketches, preliminary sizing of plant and equipment, and managing subcontractor and plant tender submissions for compliance. You will also be involved in bid management through to contract award, including obtaining feedback on pricing. Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar mechanical estimating role. Contract master experience is preferred.

Able to work independently using your own initiative. Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
