About the Role
We are seeking a vibrant, creative Print Designer for a 12-month maternity cover role within our menswear team. This is a unique opportunity to influence the entire menswear collection, spanning formalwear, nightwear, swimwear, and underwear. As the creative engine for prints, you will collaborate closely with the design team to develop fresh, innovative patterns that align with our brand’s premium aesthetic.

Key responsibilities include developing original prints and graphics across menswear categories, ensuring cohesive print stories across product lines, and bringing trend-forward ideas to the studio. You will support the design and sampling process, produce commercial and innovative design solutions, and maintain comprehensive records of design projects. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Suite, CAD, AI, or Clo3D is essential to bring designs to life digitally.

This role involves stakeholder management, building strong supplier relationships, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. EU and international travel may be required to support product development.

John Lewis is the largest employee-owned business in the UK, and as Partners, we share responsibility for our success and foster an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We support flexible working arrangements to promote a healthy work-life balance.

- Adaptable and quick learner able to pick up the brand’s DNA and contribute immediately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
