Hours
12 Month Fixed Term Contract, 15 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota between 13:00 - 21:00, including evenings and bank holidays. You may be required to work outside these hours depending on resident and service needs.

About the Role
We are seeking a Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team in Enfield, supporting residents with complex mental health needs in a 24-hour supported accommodation setting offering 21 beds. Our aim is to promote independence and equip residents with the tools needed to live fulfilling lives within the community.

In this role, you will provide person-centred and trauma-informed support within a psychologically informed environment (PIE), empowering residents on their recovery, reablement, and rehabilitation journeys. You will support individuals transitioning from complex care or acute mental health services to a structured rehabilitation setting.

Working closely with the mental health trust community rehabilitation team, you will assist residents in overcoming challenging behaviours and support medication compliance, making a meaningful difference every day.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored support to help residents achieve personal goals and outcomes, including contributing to support plans, risk assessments, reviews, and case meetings.
- Delivering all aspects of the service efficiently and consistently, including welfare checks, support sessions, safeguarding monitoring, risk assessments, and participating in training and development.
- Ensuring residents understand their rights and responsibilities and have access to appropriate tools, resources, and support networks.
- Designing, leading, and encouraging participation in projects, group sessions, and community activities.
- Creating an empowering environment where individuals are supported to make informed decisions and take control of their lives.
- Providing practical advice, emotional support, and life skills training to promote independence and resilience.

Experience
Understanding of the needs of individuals with complex mental health needs.
Experience supporting low to medium mental health service users.
Ability to use IT systems for case notes, emails, and other software relevant to the role.
Understanding of housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs.
