About the Role
A lovely Midday Supervisor role at a friendly primary school, available to start as soon as possible. This fixed term position runs until the end of July 2026. The Midday Supervisor is responsible for the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of pupils during breaktimes. You will supervise pupils in dining areas, playgrounds and other designated areas within the school premises to ensure a safe and enjoyable breaktime experience. The role is critical in maintaining a supportive and secure environment for all students.

Requirements

Experience
Experience of supervising children or young people is essential. This may be gained as a parent, carer or in a similar role. The ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations is required, along with the capability to resolve problems independently and use initiative.

About You
You will be patient, approachable and able to engage positively with children. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils is essential. You should be reliable and motivated to contribute to a safe and enjoyable school environment.

Qualifications
There are no formal qualifications required for this role, but a willingness to undertake any necessary training and enhanced DBS clearance will be required prior to employment.
