Formation Games is a mobile studio building the next generation of sports management titles. Our team combines professional football experience with deep expertise in mobile and live-service games, having worked on AAA and BAFTA-winning entertainment. Our first title, CLUB, is a free-to-play football ownership experience that puts fans in control of building and running their own club. We are seeking a designer with strong 3D experience to help develop the in-game visual assets and world for our mobile football game, CLUB. You will be the connective tissue between feature concepts and what players actually experience in their hands. You will take the lead on developing assets for features and live events, aligned with the football and annual calendars, to appeal to audiences worldwide. As a start-up, this role offers plenty of growth opportunity and autonomy.

Key responsibilities include owning and evolving the visual language for in-game assets and live events, setting the vision alongside the UX/UI Lead and CMO; working closely with the Senior Product Manager (Live Ops and Monetisation) to design and produce assets for in-game events and initiatives that drive engagement; liaising with and managing partners to deliver world-class creative execution across game UI, cosmetics and campaigns; owning the visual language from game to external campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team; and supporting internal departments (product, tech) across digital, social and physical design applications on an ad hoc basis.

Experience
3–5 years' experience in design with 3D deliverables, ideally including agency experience. Demonstrable experience across 3D and digital design. Strong written and spoken English. Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail. Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Ambitious and motivated designer with a passion for sports gaming and mobile experiences. Able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a start-up environment. Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but relevant design education or certifications in 3D and digital design are advantageous.
