About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Floating Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our successful and motivated team that supports the delivery of the best housing services within Tower Hamlets. In this role, you will manage a neighbourhood patch providing tenancy-neutral housing and estate management services. You will be responsible for managing different patches depending on service requirements, typically covering approximately 1,000 properties. Your duties will include proactively managing all potential hazards and Fire Risk Assessments, supporting and sustaining tenancies to prevent homelessness through general tenancy support, and taking action concerning breaches of tenancy such as removal of squatters, unauthorised occupants, and authorising successions and assignments, including attending court to give evidence. You will manage a portfolio of tenancy sustainment cases including safeguarding, domestic abuse, and hoarding. This role requires sensitivity and professionalism when managing stressful circumstances with clients via various communication platforms, including home visits and court representation.

Experience
