About the Role
As a Patient Transport Driver (PTD) within Barts Health NHS Trust, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from hospital appointments and other healthcare facilities. You must ensure that all journeys are conducted smoothly and safely, adhering to the Highway Code at all times. You will be required to drive Trust vehicles that are well-maintained, fully equipped, fuelled, and kept clean and tidy. Promptly reporting any vehicle defects or accidents is essential. This role demands a professional and caring approach to patient transport, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.

Experience
Applicants must have at least 2 years of driving experience and hold a full manual driving licence. Any points or endorsements on the licence must be declared during the application process and will be assessed to ensure compliance with role requirements.
