About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent quality support with strong communication skills to people who use our services. You will be working with individuals who may be mentally unwell, have experienced trauma, and have struggled to engage with mainstream services. Flexibility to work varied patterns with partner agencies is essential to deliver the best possible care. While direct experience in substance misuse is not mandatory, you must be willing to learn on the job and undertake relevant training.
Via Rough Sleepers Projects is an integrated community service offering Intensive Recovery Outreach and Dedicated Support to rough sleepers in Camden and Islington. The service provides coordinated, wrap-around care to street-active individuals with substance misuse issues. It includes both clinical and psychosocial elements and is CQC registered to provide a range of interventions including BBV and health interventions, OST, and community detox.
Experience
Direct experience in substance misuse is not required. Willingness to learn and undertake training on the job is essential.
