About the Role
Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company delivering outcomes that improve people’s lives through real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources projects. We are the leading consultancy provider to the Infrastructure sector, offering industry-leading services across rail, airports, roads, power, water, utilities and Defence. We are currently seeking experienced P6 Planners / Planning Engineers to join our London office.

As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and periodically reporting on Level 1 and Level 2 schedules, supporting project teams with planning-related contract management and reporting requirements. You will participate in project and programme planning and progress meetings, identify and maintain programme/project milestones and schedule interface activities.

The role involves supporting planning and scheduling processes to manage contracts and contractor schedules, maintaining accurate schedule interface requirements, and adhering to NEC contract processes for schedule data and submissions. You will also maintain awareness of commitments and support efforts to manage requirements to avoid breaches.

Experience
Proven experience in infrastructure sectors such as rail, airports, roads, power, water, utilities, or Defence. Skilled in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions including schedule development, control, and analysis both in the field and office environment. Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office applications is essential.

About you
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within project teams and support multiple stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a good understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.

Qualifications
Degree qualified in a construction-related subject preferred. Knowledge of engineering and construction management principles is advantageous.
