About the Role
Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company delivering industry-leading consultancy to the Infrastructure sector. We are seeking experienced P6 Planners, Planning Engineers, and Planning Managers with proven infrastructure experience across rail, airports, roads, water, and utilities to join our London office. The role involves preparing and periodically reporting on Level 1 and Level 2 schedules, supporting project teams with planning responsibilities, and participating in project and programme planning and progress meetings. You will identify and maintain programme and project milestone and schedule interface activities, ensuring adherence to NEC contract processes and supporting the management of schedule data and submissions. This role requires maintaining awareness of commitments to avoid breaches and supporting the overall programme progress and reporting requirements.
Experience
Proven experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions including schedule development, control, and analysis in both field and office environments. Skilled in oral and written communication. Proficient with PC operating systems and multiple software applications, including Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes is essential.
About you
Degree qualified in a construction-related subject is preferred. You should have a strong understanding of engineering and construction management. Ability to work collaboratively within project teams and manage planning responsibilities effectively. Commitment to maintaining high standards and compliance with contract requirements.
Qualifications
Degree qualification in a construction-related discipline is preferred. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office applications is required. Knowledge of NEC contract processes and infrastructure sector experience is highly desirable.
