Grade 3: £29,436 - £31,158 pro rata (£10,634 per annum)
About the Role
Join the London Borough of Havering’s Passenger Travel Services team, where we pride ourselves on creativity and self-drive to deliver a quality, cost-effective service. The main purpose of this role is to safely convey adults and children with learning or physical difficulties to day centres or schools and return them home using accessible buses. You will be responsible for safely securing passengers with seat belts, harnesses, or wheelchairs before the bus route begins. You will monitor passengers during journeys and liaise with drivers, clients, and transport operations regarding any delays or incidents. The role may also include ad-hoc out-of-borough trips. This is a permanent, term-time only contract based on a split shift Monday to Friday, totaling 15 hours per week.
Experience
Experience working with vulnerable adults and children in challenging environments is essential.

Qualifications
Desirable: Evidence of training such as First Aid, Safeguarding Vulnerable Clients, Challenging Behaviour, Sign Language, or similar courses.
