About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated PCN Care Coordinator / Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join the North Lambeth Primary Care Network team at Mawbey Group Practice. This permanent role involves undertaking delegated clinical tasks and duties within clear protocols, supporting patients and clinical staff effectively. You will communicate with patients, carers, and team members, attend PCN clinical coordinator meetings, and assist in promoting health and well-being through educational materials and health information. The role includes maintaining nursing notice boards, responding to patient requests, and using problem resolution skills to manage difficult situations sensitively. You will record clinical activities accurately, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives. Professional development is encouraged through supervision, appraisal, and training. You will also support health and safety by managing infection control, calibrating clinical equipment, and adhering to local safeguarding procedures. General duties include supporting the smooth running of the practice and participating in housekeeping tasks as needed.
Experience
Experience in clinical or healthcare support roles is desirable but not explicitly stated. The postholder must be able to undertake delegated clinical tasks following protocols and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
