About the Role

Veolia is looking for a Pensions Support Specialist to join our HR team. If you have a passion for solving complex problems and a genuine interest in pensions, this role is for you. You will be the trusted first point of contact for our HR Business Partners and Employee Relations teams, combining technical pension knowledge with excellent stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Resolving pension queries independently, knowing when to escalate
- Supporting strategic HR projects by bringing pension considerations to key organisational initiatives
- Improving pension communications to help colleagues understand their pension schemes clearly and confidently
- Managing 5-10 simultaneous complex pension cases with excellence
- Driving governance compliance to ensure decision-making and pension documentation remain current, accurate, and compliant
You will work closely with HR Business Partners, Employee Relations Specialists, Internal Communications teams, external pension providers, legal advisers, and indirectly support Veolia's 15,000 colleagues.

Experience
Previous experience in pensions management, consulting, or administration is essential.
About you
- Strong problem-solving, relationship management, communication, time management, and decision-making skills
- Intermediate IT literacy including Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Docs
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trust
- Organised and deadline-driven, able to manage multiple priorities effortlessly
- Self-starter mentality with initiative to drive projects forward
Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Desirable: Graduate degree or equivalent
- Relevant pensions qualifications such as RPC, Trustee Certificate, or The Pensions Regulator's Trustee Toolkit
- PMI or relevant project management qualifications
- Experience with Workday is advantageous
