As a Service Engineer, you will act as Technical Support for ECI reactive and maintenance issues. You will support technical ECI due diligence, feasibility studies, and options assessments as part of a team contributing to the development of new technologies. Your responsibilities will include drafting supporting documentation and specifications for new technologies, monitoring KPI progress with completed versus incomplete tickets, escalating high-risk issues if not addressed timely, ensuring the PPM schedule is uploaded and reviewed promptly, and managing weekly reporting related to completed versus outstanding ECI work.

You will maintain and provide continuous improvement activities to the ECI FSM platform, provide technical support and fault finding for Network and PLC Systems within Plant and Operations Software Management System Maintenance Support, and support Site Operations SCADA Systems.

Experience
Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Robotics Engineering, or a similar discipline; HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant field. Proficiency with industrial control systems including Allen Bradley, Siemens Rockwell, Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or equivalent platforms.

Creative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to conduct technical optioneering and quickly identify technological solutions for operational challenges. Strong competency with Microsoft/Google spreadsheets, documents, Gantt charts, and presentation software for project management and communication. Excellent negotiating, networking, and influencing abilities; capable of communicating complex academic and innovative ideas in practical industrial contexts to support teams. Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement solutions that enhance existing industrial contracts, increase operational efficiency, and improve performance through analytical thinking and strategic questioning.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant engineering disciplines; HNC/HND or equivalent qualification preferred.
