About the Role
For almost 20 years, BaxterStorey has created beautiful spaces, exciting menus, and friendly teams across diverse locations such as offices, stadiums, cathedrals, and universities, delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. We are seeking a People Business Partner to work closely with Senior Operations teams to develop and implement the BaxterStorey UK People Plan that supports current and future business growth and opportunities.

In this generalist HR role, you will provide coaching, consultation, and expertise across the full range of people services including staffing, talent management, engagement, employee relations, learning & development, and performance management. Your focus will be to attract, engage, and retain employees while supporting the business as it grows.

Key responsibilities include acting as a trusted partner to Operations and team members, advising leaders on all aspects of the employment life-cycle, supporting performance management processes, identifying organisational design needs, partnering with recruitment, supporting onboarding and learning culture, conducting exit interviews, analysing engagement results, driving succession planning, attending regional meetings, managing people reports, ensuring governance on pay and benefits, representing the business in sales and tender presentations especially involving TUPE, partnering on high-level employee relations, and proactively proposing innovative people initiatives.

Requirements

Experience
Solid generalist HR experience partnering with the business at all levels
Demonstrable experience delivering people-related change initiatives
Good knowledge and experience of HR systems
Experience across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, learning & development, employee relations, and equity, diversity & inclusion (ED&I)

Ability to think creatively and work autonomously using your own initiative
Great influencing skills with credibility to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Commercially focused thinker at both operational and strategic levels
Motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for supporting people and business growth

Qualifications
In-depth knowledge and understanding of HR policy, process, and employment legislation
CIPD qualification desirable
