About the Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt, our purpose is to "Make it easy for men to dress well." We are seeking a People Partner to support our Retail directorate and UK store estate with all people-related matters. You will be the primary HR point of contact for Retail managers and the Retail Leadership Team, partnering closely with the Director of Retail and senior Retail team on strategic people initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include managing employee relations cases professionally and in line with company policies, coaching managers on conduct, capability and attendance, and embedding our BE-liefs throughout the Retail business. You will support the development and delivery of Culture Amp action plans, oversee talent management and succession planning, collaborate with the Retail Recruiter to attract top talent, and analyze KPIs to identify trends and implement appropriate actions.
Additionally, you will ensure induction plans are in place, review exit survey data, contribute to the design and implementation of the Retail People Plan, and partner with Learning & Development to deliver targeted development activities that drive profitability. You will also support wider HR corporate events and undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required.
This role requires travel across the UK, France, and Ireland retail stores and offers an entrepreneurial environment where you will be encouraged to innovate and drive change.
Experience
- Proven experience in a similar HR role within retail or hospitality environments
- Strong understanding and practical application of employment law
- Experience managing employee relations cases and coaching managers
- Skilled in analyzing HR metrics and delivering actionable insights
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Ideally fully or partly CIPD qualified or qualified by experience
