About the Role
ITV is seeking a People Relations Manager to join the team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. This role is an integral part of the centralised, impartial People Relations team within People Operations, reporting to the Head of People Relations. You will deliver consistent, professional, and risk-based case management and advisory services across a wide range of complex employee relations activities throughout the business. Grounded in legislative principles, ACAS best practice, and internal policies, you will ensure full compliance while driving a duty of care approach that puts people at the heart of everything we do.

Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end formal processes, investigations, and hearings related to disciplinaries, grievances, and freelancer complaints; assisting Investigating & Hearing Managers (IHMs) in formulating balanced and proportionate recommendations; managing or advising on sensitive informal complaints such as bullying, harassment, dignity at work, or unlawful discrimination; leading appeal processes; assisting with settlement negotiations and ACAS early conciliation; providing a professional, responsive, and legally compliant advisory service; logging cases on Oracle and maintaining detailed case records; participating in weekly case clinics to share learnings and collaborate on resolutions; contributing to monthly reporting metrics for HR Leadership; and partnering with the Head of People Policy and cross-functional teams to improve HR policies based on case learnings.

Experience
Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification. Significant senior-level HR generalist or business partner experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-profile organisation. Proven experience managing complex employee relations investigations, including strong report writing skills. Extensive experience providing objective, proactive, and commercially focused HR counsel directly to senior leadership groups.
