About the Role
We are seeking compassionate carers to join a small team supporting a female wheelchair user in her 40s. The role involves assisting with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and baking, accessing the community, personal care, medication management, monitoring health conditions, attending appointments, and other home and community support as needed. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing regular care and support in a home environment tailored to individual needs. The post is subject to references and a DBS check, and the successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK at the time of starting.
Experience
No prior care work experience is required. Full training will be provided, including essential PA guide, moving & handling, food hygiene, first aid, and hand hygiene.
About you
Applicants must be female due to personal care needs. A kind and caring nature with a willingness to learn and adapt to individual requirements is essential. Candidates should be able to commit to weekend and evening work and provide support during school holidays.
Qualifications
A full UK driving licence is essential. Experience driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is preferred but not required. Candidates must have their own personal car and be able to drive a Motability-equipped vehicle.
