About the Role
At Mace, our purpose is to redefine the boundaries of ambition. We believe in creating places that are responsible, bringing transformative impact to our people, communities and societies across the globe. Within our Consult and Construct businesses, we harness a unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.

As the United Kingdom Delivery Team enters its 4th year of working alongside a major client in delivering over $5Bn of social and flood infrastructure, we are expanding. We are searching for a Manager to steer our Integrated Solutions Delivery Assurance team through this exciting period of growth. Over the next year, we will support the delivery of a 5-fold increase in the volume of works compared to the previous year, including construction starting on multiple city drainage schemes, river defence projects, and unique reforestation and early warning systems.

If you are looking to lead a large, high-energy infrastructure consultancy team while delivering a unique programme, this is an excellent opportunity to join us.

Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want on our journey:
- Safety first - Going home safe and well: You will be an advocate of Mace's Safety First value, accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and project compliance standards. You will possess expertise in local Health and Safety rules and regulations relevant to the project portfolio and champion a diverse and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing for your team.
- Client focus – Deliver on our promise: You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives. You will support the long-term success of Planning performance for specified sectors and contribute to broader company goals. You will ensure projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.
- Integrity – Always do the right thing: You will support senior management in negotiations, contract development and business development, ensuring due diligence is applied. You will contribute to the long-term development of strategy for your function or Business Unit, creating a sustainable business future. You will commit to making a positive impact for our people, clients, and planet, and hold others accountable to uphold Mace values.
- Create opportunity for our people to excel: You will support your project team by fostering an environment to share knowledge and experience. You will actively network, innovate, and seek best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge within Mace Group, including Centres of Excellence, Mace Way Control Centre and Knowledge Hub. You will develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients and other project stakeholders, both internal and external.
