£44,554 - £51,980 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role
Bromley Y is a long-established charity providing an early help Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service based on the principles of iThrive. We value the voices of Children, Young People (CYP), their families (parents) and/or carers as well as partner agencies.
We are seeking two highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Leads to join our service starting September 2026. The successful candidates will have considerable experience supervising and managing therapists and practitioners within Children's Mental Health services. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills, be organised, and able to work creatively to develop and manage the day-to-day operations of the service.
Key responsibilities include managing and supervising practitioners, allocating caseloads, coordinating assessment and risk processes, auditing cases, facilitating multi-disciplinary consultation meetings, and coordinating group interventions. There are also strategic partnership opportunities within Bromley.
The role includes maintaining a small caseload to retain professional skills and accreditation. You will work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, ages, and abilities, using interpreters when necessary, and must be committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Experience
- Considerable experience working therapeutically with children, young people, and their families
- Significant experience in management and practice supervision
- Experience of multi-agency working and liaising across internal and external agencies
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and young people
- Experience in report writing, training, and delivering presentations
- Familiarity with Bromley’s children, young people, and families is desirable

Qualifications
- Accreditation with a professional body (e.g. BACP, BABCP, UKCP)
