About the Role
Vita Health Group (VHG), part of the wider Spire Healthcare Group, is seeking a clinically focused, confident, and forward-thinking Principal Clinical Lead to support clinical service development, customer focus, clinical oversight, and governance within VHG Corporate Mental Health services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Professional to play a pivotal role in Spire’s strategic ambitions. You will lead the corporate mental health teams, ensuring services are delivered in line with current evidence and meet all customer and contractual clinical requirements. Through strong clinical leadership, you will support the achievement of key clinical KPIs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.
In this collaborative role, you will work closely with the Mental Health Operations Lead to support operational and commercial elements of the service. By providing clear, expert clinical guidance, you will help ensure Spire Workplace Health remains a trusted, safe, and efficient provider of mental health services for corporate customers.

Experience
- Proven experience leading and managing psychological therapy services, including primary care
- Experience providing clinical leadership for practitioners across a range of psychological therapies
- Experience in a corporate clinical environment is desirable but not essential

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire confidence and engagement across teams
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage key activities and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Confident decision-maker applying clinical knowledge and professional experience to make evidence-based judgements
- IT competent, able to navigate and manage multiple digital platforms and clinical systems efficiently
- Adaptable and effective communicator, able to tailor communication style to engage clinical, operational, network, and customer service colleagues as well as diverse customers and service users
Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in CBT, equivalent to NHS TT high intensity, with full accreditation from BABCP
- Qualified, Registered Mental Health Professional (e.g. practitioner psychologist, mental health nurse, occupational therapist) registered with the relevant professional body (HCPC, NMC, GMC)
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Supervision qualification or recognised CPD in supervision
