About the Role
As a Principal Designer based in our London office, you will deliver CDM and Health & Safety consultancy services to both existing and new clients. Your role will be flexible to meet client requirements, covering CDM and H&S management. You will proactively identify solutions to client challenges and ensure consistent delivery of service excellence. Key responsibilities include understanding and developing systems to improve CDM and H&S efficiency, providing expert advice, acting as Principal Designer where required, and helping clients manage their legal responsibilities under CDM regulations. You will establish positive relationships with clients to build trust and represent Turner & Townsend professionally in meetings, negotiations, and correspondence. You will manage commissions to ensure client expectations and company standards are met, carry out H&S performance reviews and audits, and liaise with colleagues to support team effectiveness and project quality. This role may include SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Principal Designer
- Extensive knowledge of the Construction Industry, specifically CDM Regulations
- Experience across diverse industry sectors is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise workload effectively to meet deadlines

Qualifications
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- NEBOSH Diploma Level or equivalent
- GradIOSH or equivalent
- Membership of the APS
- Full UK driving licence
