About the Role

As a Procurement Manager within the CBRE Procurement function, you will lead a team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing outsourced service providers. You will assist clients or departments in developing and executing sourcing and procurement strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include supervising and developing staff, managing recruitment, coordinating daily team activities, and establishing work schedules. You will work closely with business stakeholders and operational teams to develop and execute procurement strategies at local and regional levels. Contract management duties include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and maintaining contracts, as well as managing contract terminations, extensions, and renewals.
You will oversee supplier certification processes, conduct supplier performance reviews, and mentor your team on contemporary outsourcing practices. Additionally, you will analyze facility management services spend and operations to identify value creation opportunities, assist with RTF creation, solution selection, and negotiation, and ensure all contracts comply with company standards.
As a leader, you will model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, influence stakeholders to reach agreements, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues. This role may include SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
Please note that effective January 1, 2025, CBRE Project Management and Turner & Townsend will consolidate into a single global business entity. Initial employment may be with CBRE GWS, with a subsequent transfer to Turner & Townsend at a later date.
Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant procurement or management experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance appraisal, and retention is preferred. Proven ability to handle sensitive and complex information and to communicate performance expectations effectively.
Leadership skills to motivate and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness within the team and department. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset and advanced math skills, including financial calculations.
