About the Role
As a Product Engineer at Minerva Defence, you will work on software that enables users to operate or monitor multiple unmanned systems. You will take feature requests from frontline users and be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and shipping these features. This role requires a product-focused engineer comfortable with full ownership of features across the entire stack, including backend, frontend, UI/UX, and deployment.

You will work directly on software used daily by frontline operators, improving operational output through reliable and robust feature updates. The role demands ownership from implementation through field testing to deployment, and a willingness to learn new skills as needed to deliver results.

Responsibilities include leading feature development based on customer feedback, working across the full stack (backend primarily Python, frontend React and Electron), and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality updates that enhance user experience and operational effectiveness.

Experience
- Proven experience shipping user-facing software in a product-driven environment
- Solid grounding in both backend and frontend development
- Experience with Python, Typescript, React, Electron or related technologies preferred
- Experience in a customer-facing product development role is advantageous
