About the Role
This is a secured opportunity to join Mace Consult Limited as a Project Advisor within the Ministry of Justice sector, currently undergoing significant growth. You will be part of an established team delivering a major programme of works at Stanford Hill, including the construction of new CAT D open prison places and refurbishment of existing facilities. The role involves end-to-end project management across the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery meets time, cost, technical performance, and quality requirements.
You will support delivery through procurement and construction phases, managing a wider consultant team and collaborating with all project stakeholders including the pre-programme Senior Project Manager (SPM) and sub-programme lead. This client-facing role requires strong leadership to drive the client’s strategy, manage project governance and assurance tools, and build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and supply chain members.
The projects incorporate Modern Methods of Construction and standardised processes, and you will be responsible for managing contract suppliers under NEC4 contracts, coordinating multiple project interfaces, and managing design development and scope changes efficiently.
The role promotes Mace’s core values including safety first, client focus, integrity, and creating opportunities for people to excel. You will champion safety and wellbeing, ensure quality systems, manage project risks and budgets, and foster a diverse and inclusive working environment.
