About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking experienced Project Controls Managers to join our team delivering major infrastructure projects and programmes across London and the South East. This role is ideal for professionals with a proven background in sectors such as rail, aviation, water/utilities or highways. You will lead the programme controls function, ensuring accuracy and consistency in plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting. You will deploy controls team resources effectively and establish control processes in compliance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and programme requirements. Key responsibilities include reviewing new project proposals to develop realistic resource plans, identifying resourcing needs, liaising with planning functions, providing day-to-day reporting support to Programme and Project Managers, monitoring data input standards, managing the production of the Investment Plan, and complying with the Investment Competence Framework. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on complex infrastructure projects within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Experience
Proven experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions including schedule development, control, and analysis both in the field and office. Skilled in oral and written communication. Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple software applications including Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office. Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes. Understanding of engineering and construction management principles.
