About the Role
Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company delivering outcomes that improve people’s lives through real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources projects. As the leading consultancy provider to the rail sector, we are seeking a Project Controls Manager with proven rail sector experience to join our London office.
The successful candidate will lead the programme controls function on a major rail project in London, ensuring accuracy and consistency in plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting. You will deploy available controls team resources effectively and establish control processes compliant with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP).
Key responsibilities include reviewing new project proposals to develop realistic, resourceable plans, identifying resourcing requirements and liaising with planning units to resolve issues, providing day-to-day reporting services to Programme and Project Managers, monitoring data input standards, managing the production of the Investment Plan at Territory/Project level, and complying with the Investment Competence Framework.

Experience
- Performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions including schedule development, control, and analysis in both field and office environments
- Skilled in oral and written communication
- Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple software applications including Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office
- Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes
- Knowledge of engineering and construction management

Qualifications
