About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of Medical Communications projects, providing project coordination, scientific, and administrative support to our teams. You will oversee project activities, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve processes, and help drive quality and efficiency across the team and company. Your work will span projects across Publications and Medical Affairs teams, with focus areas depending on project needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day coordination of projects and teams, including monitoring timelines, scheduling meetings, coordinating agendas and minutes, and maintaining planning tools to support timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Assisting Project Managers with project proposals, oversight, stakeholder communication, project tracking and reporting, financial administration, and delivering high levels of service to clients and stakeholders.
- Supporting development and quality control of Medical Communications materials, including formatting and consistency reviews, accurate referencing of scientific materials, screening records for relevance, document preparation in line with client and submission requirements, and liaising with the Creative team on visual asset development.
- Managing project compliance activities, including preparation of compliance documentation, supporting copy-review processes, liaising with client compliance teams, acting as a key contact for compliance queries, and supporting adherence to industry guidelines.
- Coordinating logistics and providing project support for in-person and virtual events such as congresses, symposiums, and advisory boards.
- Liaising with external suppliers including translation agencies, digital and marketing agencies, and other consultancies.

Experience
A degree-level or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) is essential. Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous but not required. Candidates from a diverse range of specialisms are welcome, including but not limited to Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Global Health, Epidemiology, Biochemistry, and Medicine.
