About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Project Managers to join our expanding Central and Local Government team based in our flagship office in Central London. We are seeking a pro-active and self-motivated problem solver with a logical and structured approach to managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. The role requires an ability to understand technical inputs from design and contractor teams to overcome challenges at both pre-contract and post-contract stages, with some experience in contract administration being advantageous. You will lead on residential-led or mixed-use projects at the enabling stage, which may include highways, utilities, enabling works, remediation, public realm, bridges, utility diversions or upgrades, and managing S106 or S278 obligations. Key responsibilities include conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking, establishing effective project processes and systems, monitoring and documenting project progress and performance indicators, preparing written communications and formal reports, liaising with clients, contractors and designers, attending meetings and drafting minutes. This role requires a collaborative team player who values the contribution they bring to both the business and clients’ projects and programmes, exemplifying high standards of delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders including clients, influential parties, contractors and end-users
- Direct experience of on-site construction
- Experience in residential-led or mixed-use projects, preferably at the enabling stage (including highways, utilities, enabling works, remediation, public realm, bridges, utility diversions or upgrades, managing S106 or S278 obligations)
- Knowledge of CDM/site health and safety regulations
- Broad understanding of the development lifecycle including business case, design, consents, procurement, delivery, handover and management

Qualifications
- Cognate qualification in construction, real estate, planning or engineering
- Engineering qualification and/or background preferred (civil, structural, mechanical or electrical)
