About the Role
Turner & Townsend's Digital and Consultancy business unit is seeking a Project Manager/Business Analyst with a focus on the Defence and National Security sector. Candidates must hold a very high level UK government security clearance (DV Cleared). The role involves supporting a wide range of projects of varying sizes, working within the Digital consulting team and collaborating with wider Turner & Townsend project teams. Responsibilities include scoping and implementing best practice Business Analysis methodologies, documenting current and future states of processes and systems, eliciting and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle, supporting data capture and validation, and assisting with testing and assurance of technical solutions. The role also involves preparing project communications, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and supporting the development of the business analysis service offering and new commercial opportunities. Candidates will be expected to travel and demonstrate excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to lead workshops and manage requirements effectively.
Experience
Previous consultancy and delivery experience within the National Security sector with appropriate clearances is essential. Experience working in Agile development teams is required. Proven ability to work alongside technical developer teams and translate technical requirements from non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud-based data management and analysis solutions is preferred.
About you
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to different client environments. Comfortable leading workshops, process modelling, and managing the requirements lifecycle. Strong analytical and numeracy skills with the ability to understand and present data in various formats. Motivated to support junior colleagues and contribute to service growth. Desire or ability to learn basic programming languages such as VBA and SQL is preferred.
Qualifications
Business Analysis qualifications such as BCS or IIBA are desirable but extensive experience will be considered. Knowledge of data modelling, data quality, and data architecture is advantageous. Familiarity with Programme and Project Management software such as Primavera P6, Contruent, SAP, or Prism is beneficial. A degree in an analytic subject is preferred but not required.
