About the Role
This role is within the Assets Department, reporting to the Property Accounts & Business Systems Manager. You will manage all aspects of the Accounts Payable & Receivable functions and be responsible for credit control. Your duties will include supplier management, invoice processing and payments, and general maintenance of financial systems. You will handle multiple bank reconciliations and perform end-to-end accounts assistant tasks such as coding, matching, batching of invoices, payment runs, and credit control.
Additionally, you will input and verify lease information to ensure billing and receipting are prepared and completed promptly. The role also involves processing utility invoices and assisting with the management of utility accounts to ensure they are included in consolidated billing, with any additions or deletions actioned and followed up efficiently.
This is a hybrid role supporting both office and home working in line with council policy, requiring attendance at the office according to a rota and service needs. The successful candidate will be expected to use the Microsoft Authenticator app on their own mobile device for secure network access.

Experience
A proven track record in a varied, hands-on property finance role is essential. Experience delivering a superior service to stakeholders across the business is required.

You must have excellent attention to detail, be able to prioritise and manage your workload effectively, and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas, is necessary. You should demonstrate drive, enthusiasm, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
